Rune Strømquist joined the World Wide Wind team in 2023, as Senior Technical Advisor.

Specialized in Offshore Oil & Gas with more than 40 years of experience in the offshore industry including engineering, subsea constructions, project management, technology development and commercial management.

Rune has held several Top Management positions, e.g. Global Account Executive at GE and Senior Vice President Technology at ABB’s Oil & Gas division.

Rune holds a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from NTNU, the Norwegian Technical University.
