Hans Bernhoff has been a member of the World Wide Wind team since 2022.

In addition to being responsible for R&D in World Wide Wind, Hans is a Professor in Engineering Physics at Uppsala University and a globally leading expert on vertical axis wind turbines, with 20+ years of renewable energy research in wind and wave power, electric propulsion, materials and pulsed power. Hans previously held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the IBM Research Division in Zurich and Project Leader at ABB Corporate Research at Västerås, Sweden.

Hans holds a PhD in Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden.
